Baby Clothes

Ruby fits in 6 month clothing. She is two months old. Granted, baby clothes are very inaccurate when it comes to sizing, but still. I expected to retire the 0-3 months clothing around this time, but not 3-6 month stuff!

On her one month check-up, she weighed 10 lb, 6 oz and measured 22 1/2 inches. I'll bet she's pushing 13 lbs now.

I am relieved by this. If any of you read one of my earliest blogs for Theo, you'll find that skinny kids make me worry (he was less than 5th percentile for weight). Maybe this time I won't have to pour safflower oil all over her food.

Ruby gets to do push-ups a few times each day. We find her here on push-up number three of this set.

She's getting better at following faces, and doesn't like to be alone for too long when she's awake.

Ruby goes on her first hike

We went hiking in Rocky Gap State Park. Mom did not want to wear the Baby Bjorn for this hike, because she was out of shape and because all the weight goes on the shoulders, so Dad got to carry both kids.
