Ruby has a happy 2nd birthday

This year we could not throw a big party because we were moving to our new house. Even now, we are settling into the house, but it isn't in any condition for parties involving lots of young children.

Fortunately, we had lots of family over, and we had a very nice celebration. Take a look for yourself:
Ruby had two birthday cakes. This pretty one was baked by Grandma Gifford. Ruby tried to blow out the candles, but she had to rely on her Kuya and cousins Ralphie and Josh to put the flame out.



Most everybody at the party had one, maybe two pieces of cake. Afterwards everyone went downstairs to the playroom. We noticed at the end that Ruby was the only one left at the table, still eating cake and ice cream.

Ruby has fun at the park

Ruby is really very good at climbing. In the second picture she is hiding behind a climbing wall. She can climb to the top of that wall with minimal assistance. In the third picture she is playing patty-cake with Dad.
